I have used these actions a lot. When I worked on my "Vintage Delhi" project, they saved me loads of time. Until then, I had simulated some of the effects manually. While this is indeed a good learning experience, there are many times when you want a really good, authentic effect, fast. This is where The Wet Plate Collection was a life saver. The steps that are included, the overlays that are included, make this collection really well worth the money. Now, I want them to develop some more - to replicate daguerreotypes, wet collodion, and platinum emulsions. If Greater Than Gatsby does this, then I, at least, am one customer!
Like these a lot, hard to replicate this quality and style. Sure it can be done, but at this price, and Gatsby's quality, i'm on it.
I've been trying to figure the whole Wet Plate photography stuff out and researching wet plates and came across this and thought I'd try it, why not at this price, and was pleasantly surprised. These are really nice, worth the money and many wet plate textures and styles in this little set.
I'm always looking for unique actions and these are very cool. It's amazing what you can do.
This set probably isn't for everyone, but it's an incredible set. Creating these looks is very hard, to get it looking good and authentic. These actions and overlays make it easy to do good work.
This set is a complete game changer. The Wet Plates completely change the variety of looks I'm able to provide customers during post-processing. Do yourself a favor and pick up this set. You won't be sorry!
